This offer is available to international bachelor's and master's students in the natural sciences and other disciplines. The program location is Dresden, HZDR Research Center, Germany. The dates are between July 29 and August 30, 2024. The minimum stay is six weeks and the maximum stay is nine weeks.

What is the goal of the program?
The aim of the HZDR summer program is to offer students a unique opportunity to work in the field of natural sciences (physics and life sciences) with a focus on fundamental or applied research or technological development.
Summer students make up an important part of the research groups. The students receive homework.

The selection of participants will be based on the quality of their CV, academic qualifications and the content of a letter of recommendation from a university professor, group leader or researcher who can evaluate the candidate's performance and achievements.
Selection criterion
- Applicants of any nationality can apply.
- You are a master's or master's student in the natural sciences (physics or biology) or related subjects.
- You have a university degree. If you wish to continue your studies, you must have a third-year degree certificate before the following summer.
- A student ID card, for example an ID card.

Notification of approval or rejection will be sent by email before mid-April 2024.
